Wife went out with friends and I solo parented for 8 hours straight

Two kids ages 3 and 6. Made lunch, did a craft project, took them to the park, cleaned up the explosion of toys, made dinner, got them both into pajamas and down for bed without any meltdowns. Nobody got hurt. House didn't burn down. Wife came home and was shocked everything was handled. She actually gave me a hug and said I did good. Feels like I just won the dad lottery.
