He literally wants to play all day if I let him. I've set a 2 hour limit on school days but he's constantly asking for just 5 more minutes. He says all his friends play it and he'll be left out if he doesn't. How do you guys handle this? Is Roblox actually dangerous or am I just paranoid? I don't want to be the strict dad but this feels unhealthy.
Two hours on school days is solid honestly. My kid is the same way with YouTube. The key is sticking to it even when they push back hard. Stay strong.
Oh man, I'm in the exact same boat with my two. The 2 hour limit is solid but you might need to add some structure around those last 15 mins before cutoff time so the transition doesn't turn into World War 3.
Bedtime routine needs to start way before screen time ends, trust me on this one. My kids started winding down better once I made the last hour before bed a no-device zone, even on weekends.
Have you tried getting him into something else that's hands-on? Sometimes kids just need an outlet and Roblox is the easy default.

The complaining is the hardest part. My son does the same thing and it kills me when he gets upset but boundaries are boundaries. You're doing it right.
