9 year old begging for a gaming PC
He says all his friends have one and can play together after school. I'm not against gaming but I'm worried about the rabbit hole here. Currently he's got limited iPad time and it's a battle every single day. If I get him a PC won't that just make it worse? Any parents here who let their kids have gaming setups? How do you manage it without losing your mind?
The friends thing is real but honestly at 9 you can probably set some structure around it. My son did karate instead and made friends that way which actually felt better to me than online gaming.
