Anyone use parental controls that actually work?

Apple Screen Time is garbage, my kids know how to get around it. Looking for something that actually prevents them from bypassing it. We use Samsung tablets and iPhones so need something cross platform if possible. Willing to pay for an app that doesn't suck.

I looked into some of the third party stuff but it felt like an arms race. Might be worth checking the Samsung settings more thoroughly first, sometimes the built-in options are more locked down than people realize.

With four kids here I've tried everything and honestly nothing is foolproof. They're too smart now. Best thing I found is just having the conversation about it and trusting them a bit, even though it's scary.
