Honestly tired of scrolling through the App Store looking for stuff that's both educational AND engaging. My 6yo has been using Duolingo (he's trying to learn Spanish to talk to my sister lol) and Khan Academy Kids is solid too. But I feel like there's gotta be stuff I'm missing? What are you guys using that doesn't feel like "chores disguised as games"?
We tried like 20 different math apps and they all felt too gamified and distracting. Finally landed on Mathway and my 8yo finally gets long division.
Been there with the App Store scroll rabbit hole. Honestly Toca Boca apps are expensive but they hold up way better than the cheap alternatives.
Khan Academy Kids has been a lifesaver for us. My 5yo actually asks to use it instead of complaining. Free too which is wild.
Duolingo is the only thing my kids will actually stick with for more than a week. The little owl mascot somehow makes them want to keep a streak going.

PBS Kids app is underrated. Your kid gets actual learning and you can turn it off without a meltdown because there's a clear ending to each activity.
