Best parental control apps that actually work?

Looking for recommendations on parental control software. My kids are 8 and 12 and I want something that blocks inappropriate sites, limits screen time, and maybe tracks location without being too invasive or expensive. We've tried a few free options but they seem pretty easy to bypass. What are you guys using that actually does the job?

At 8 and 12 you probably need different solutions. Apple Screen Time is honestly solid for the basics and it's already built in. What kind of control are you looking for specifically?
Honest take: the app matters less than the conversation. I could set up Fort Knox but my 12 year old figured out three workarounds already. Talk to them about why the limits exist.
