Best parental control setup for multiple kids?

We've got 3 kids (6, 8, 11) with various devices and I'm honestly overwhelmed trying to manage everyone's screen time separately. Right now I'm using:

iPad built-in Screen Time for the youngest
Android's parental controls (poorly) for the 8yo
iPhone Screen Time for the 11yo

Is there a single dashboard system that works across everything? Apple's Family Sharing is ok but doesn't cover Android. I'd rather pay for something that consolidates everything instead of checking three different apps every day.

Three kids is intense. I'd recommend picking ONE solution and committing to it rather than trying to mix different apps. We tried that and it was a nightmare. Pick between Apple, Google Family Link, or Bark and stick with it.

We use Apple Screen Time for our two and honestly it does 80% of what I need. The app limits are easy to set per kid and you can override quickly if needed. Not perfect but way better than trying to manage it all manually.

The 6 year old probably doesn't need parental controls yet if you're just handing her your iPad for 20 minutes anyway. Focus on the 8 and 11 year olds where they're actually asking for their own devices.

Whatever system you pick, make sure your kids understand WHY the limits exist. Don't just block everything arbitrarily or they'll resent it. Frame it as health, not punishment.

You're overthinking this. Most parental control setups are just app blockers at the end of the day. Pick whichever matches your devices and move on. The secret is actually enforcing consistent bedtimes, not the app itself.

Google Family Link is free and honestly works great across multiple devices and Android phones. Setup took me like an hour for two kids but it's been smooth since.
