Daughter won't put her iPad down and it's becoming a real problem
She gets maybe 2 hours on weekdays and suddenly she's acting like we're torturing her when it's time to stop. She'll cry, throw stuff, the whole thing. I know we probably need to cut back but every time I take it away it turns into world war 3. I feel like I already gave her the tech habit so now I'm stuck. Anyone dealt with this?
Two hours is actually pretty reasonable man. The meltdown is totally normal though - kids that age hit a wall when screens stop. We set a 10-minute warning before iPad time ends, helps my daughter transition way better than just yanking it.
