Does anyone else's kid actually use educational apps or is it just us?

We've been using Khan Academy Kids with my 5yo for morning math and it's genuinely been helpful. She actually loves it (or at least asks for it more than I'd expect). Most parents I know are like 'yeah right, my kid would never' when I mention it. Am I lucky or is there something about how we set it up? What educational apps have actually stuck around in your house?

Khan Academy Kids is legitimately great. My 4yo has been using it for like 6 months now and she actually retains stuff. The gamification keeps her engaged without feeling like screen time punishment.

The math section is solid but I wish there were more reading options in Khan Academy Kids. We've been supplementing with Starfall for phonics and it's been the combo that works.

Morning math sessions are the move. Gets them learning before the day gets chaotic. Our 6yo actually asks to do it now instead of asking for YouTube.

How much screen time per day are you doing? We're trying to keep it under 20 minutes in the morning but sometimes it stretches longer and I feel guilty about it.

We tried it for a week and our kid lost interest. She'd rather just do physical workbooks honestly. Every kid is different I guess but glad it's working for yours.
