Educational apps that don't suck (imo)
Since everyone asks, here are the ones my kids actually use without me having to force them:
Duolingo - My 8yo has been doing Spanish for 3 months, actually pretty fun with the streaks thing
Khan Academy Kids - Free, solid math stuff for younger kids
Scratch - If your kid's into creative coding, this is way better than random YouTube tutorials
I avoid anything with predatory reward systems (looking at you, certain reading apps). Duolingo gets close but it's genuinely entertaining.
What am I missing? What's actually working for your families?
Duolingo is where it's at. My 7yo actually asks to do her Spanish lessons now. Still can't believe it.
