Gaming is actually helping my shy kid make friends
This might be unpopular here but I want to share something positive. My 9 year old is really introverted and struggled at school. Started playing Minecraft with kids from his class online and now he's actually talking more and even made plans to hang out with one of them IRL last weekend. Still monitoring everything obviously but gaming has genuinely helped him come out of his shell. Anyone else have similar experiences?
Not unpopular at all. My shy one opened up way more once she found her people through gaming. Sometimes kids just need to meet others on their own terms, you know?
