Gaming isn't all bad - my thoughts
Read a lot of doom and gloom on here about gaming so I wanted to share another perspective. My 11yo is really into Minecraft and yeah I was skeptical but honestly it's taught him problem solving, resource management, creativity. We play together sometimes on weekends which is pretty fun. He's not on screens 24/7, gets good grades, plays sports, reads books. I think like anything it's about balance and not demonizing technology. Some of these games are actually way better than mindless YouTube watching.
I appreciate this take. Everyone wants to blame gaming for everything but there's a lot of problem solving and creativity happening too. It's about balance like with anything else.
