Started playing Minecraft with my 10 year old a few months ago and honestly it's been awesome. He shows me stuff he built and explains his whole strategy for things. Way better than him just staring at a screen alone. Anyone else found games that actually connect you with your kids?
Minecraft is such a great one for this. The fact that he's showing you his builds and strategies means he's excited to share his world with you - that's gold right there.

This is huge. My 8 year old just got into Minecraft and I love watching him explain all his building plans. It's way more interactive than I expected and honestly we both look forward to it.
