Good experience with Discord for older kids

Honestly thought Discord was sketchy until my 14yo asked to use it for his gaming group. Did some research and realized I was being paranoid about it. Set up his account, joined the server myself, and it's actually way better than I expected. He plays with the same 5 kids every weekend and I can monitor it. Anyone else surprised by this app?

That's awesome that you did the research instead of just shutting it down. My four kids are all over different platforms and Discord seems like one of the more legit ones for gaming communities.

Same here man. I was skeptical about Discord until my oldest wanted in. After looking into it myself, I realized I was just being overprotective. Glad your son found a good gaming group.
