How much screen time for a 2 year old is reasonable?

Everyone has different opinions and it's driving me nuts. My kid watches maybe 20-30 min of Daniel Tiger or Bluey while we're making dinner and the wife's mom thinks he's gonna grow up addicted to screens. The AAP says limit it but they wrote that in 2016 and things have changed. What are you guys doing? Are you strict about it or more relaxed?

20-30 minutes while you're cooking sounds totally reasonable to me. My kids watch something similar and they're fine, honestly the stress from trying to be perfect is probably worse than the screen time itself.

Yeah man, everyone's got an opinion but you're not parking them in front of a screen all day. Daniel Tiger is actually pretty solid content too, my youngest learned some real stuff from it.
