iPad as babysitter—am I ruining my kids or is this normal now?

Honest question: on days when I'm working from home, I let my 4 and 6 year old watch YouTube Kids for like an hour so I can actually focus on calls. I feel guilty about it but also like... isn't this just parenting in 2024? My mom would've put me in front of the TV all day without blinking. Am I being too hard on myself or should I actually be finding better solutions?
