Is 2 hours of screen time on weekends reasonable?

My kids are 6 and 9. On weekends they get about 2 hours total of screen time (gaming and some YouTube). Wife thinks it's too much but I figure after a week of school and us working they deserve some downtime. They still play outside, read, and do activities. Are we being too permissive or is this actually okay? What's everyone else doing?

2 hours on weekends seems pretty reasonable to me, especially if it's split between two kids. I'd be more worried about what they're watching than the total time. Does your wife have specific concerns about what they're doing during that time?

With a 6 and 9 year old that's not unreasonable at all. Our kids get similar amounts on weekends and we balance it with outdoor stuff the rest of the day. As long as the rest of their day is active I wouldn't sweat it too much.
