Is 2 hours screen time on weekends reasonable for 8 year old?

My son has been asking for more gaming time on Saturdays and Sundays. Right now we do about 1.5 hours total but he wants to push it to 2-2.5 hours. He's getting good grades and doing his chores, so I'm thinking about budging a little. What do you guys do? Am I being too strict or is more screen time just asking for trouble?

That's a tough one. We usually cap it at 2 on weekends and try to get the kids outside doing something else. As long as he's not gaming all day, seems fair to me.
