My youngest keeps asking for "screen time" now because his older brothers get it. He's obsessed with watching Bluey clips on my phone. I feel like 4 is too young but also I'm exhausted and sometimes I just need 20 mins of peace lol. My older two turned out fine with screens... but this feels different? Anyone dealing with this yet? What's the move here?
This is the worst part about having multiple kids honestly. The younger ones see what the older ones do and suddenly you're the bad guy for saying no. We ended up getting him a tablet with like super restricted apps just so he'd stop asking.
Yeah totally normal. My 4yo saw his older sister watching something and now he asks for "tablet time" every single day. I think once they realize it exists and their siblings get it, they're hooked. We do like 20 minutes on weekends only.
100% normal. The sibling factor is huge. Instead of total ban we started letting ours have 15 minutes of YouTube kids in the afternoon if he plays independently first. Takes the pressure off a bit.

Normal as hell. My youngest is 3 and asks for screen time constantly even though we barely do it. Kids that age see literally anything their siblings have and want it immediately. I just redirect with other stuff whenever possible.
