Kid got scammed on Fortnite - $47 gone
My 12yo convinced me to add a payment method to his Epic Games account for "cosmetics" (I still don't fully understand what that means). Long story short, someone apparently accessed his account and spent $47 on skins or battle passes or something. Epic Games won't refund it because he's the one who "authorized" the purchase somehow? This is so frustrating. Has anyone gotten money back in a situation like this or am I just out $47?
Email Epic support with the details. Include the transaction ID from your credit card statement. They've refunded me before in similar situations. Takes like a week but it works
