My 7yo found his way around screen time limits

So I set up parental controls on the iPad with a 1 hour daily limit. Found out yesterday he figured out how to restart the device and it resets the timer. He's been doing this for weeks apparently. Not even mad, kind of impressed. Anyone else dealing with kids who are smarter than their own security measures?

Oh man, I feel this. My teenagers have found workarounds to pretty much everything I've set up. Sounds like your 7yo is going to keep you on your toes.

Ha, that's a clever kid right there. The restart trick completely bypasses most parental controls I've seen. You might need to dig into the actual settings instead of relying on the quick limits.
