My 9yo hacked my parental control password lmao

So I set up pretty tight parental controls on my son's iPad using a password only I know. Thought I was slick. Found out yesterday he's been watching YouTube videos about how to bypass parental controls and actually managed to work around some of my restrictions?? He's NINE. I don't know if I should be mad or impressed. My wife thinks it's funny but I'm genuinely concerned about what he's accessing now. Do I go nuclear and take the device away or just accept that he's smarter than my tech skills and renegotiate some rules?
