Not even joking. I set up screen time limits and my 11 year old figured out how to bypass them. He's been playing Fortnite way more than he should. I should probably be impressed by the problem solving but I'm mostly just annoyed. Any advice on actually keeping these controls locked down?
Sticker chart for not hacking parental controls. I'm only half joking. Works for everything else in my house, might as well try it on screen time compliance.
Tech support from an 11 year old, that's actually kind of impressive even if it's not what you want. Have you tried involving him in the conversation about why the limits are there instead of just enforcing them? Sometimes when kids feel heard about the rules they're less motivated to break them.

Ha, this is the arms race nobody warns you about. My 10yo tried the same thing last month. I had to get one of those old-school devices that just blocks WiFi at the router level instead of relying on the phone settings. Way harder to hack when you don't control the device.
