My kid has discovered YouTube and I'm losing my mind

He went from asking me questions to asking YouTube. Now I hear 'Well actually this guy on YouTube said...' about literally everything. At least he's learning stuff? But why does he need to watch 47 videos on how to beat one minecraft level. Anyone else dealing with this or is my kid just weird.

Oh man, the 'Well actually...' phase is real. With three kids, I've heard enough YouTube facts to fill a library. At least they're curious, right? Just maybe fact-check the wild stuff with him sometimes.

Haha I feel this. My oldest went down this path hard. The key is nodding, then casually asking him to explain it back to you in his own words. Usually catches the nonsense pretty quick.

Welcome to the club. I've started making it a game where he has to prove what YouTube says is actually true. Garage sale finds work better as screen time rewards anyway.
