My kid is addicted to Roblox and I don't know how to break the cycle
This is becoming a real problem. My 11 year old comes home from school and immediately asks to play Roblox. When I say no or set a timer, he throws a fit. I've tried limiting it to weekends only but he just mopes around all week. I don't want to be the bad guy but this feels out of control. Anyone else dealing with this? How do you actually enforce boundaries when all their friends are playing too?
Pizza night at our house actually became a no-screens time and the kids stopped fighting it once it became tradition. Maybe create a new after-school ritual that's just as exciting? The tantrums usually mean he needs a better alternative, not just boundaries.
