Netflix password sharing crackdown has me reconsidering everything
Since Netflix killed the shared password thing I've been looking at what we actually use and wow, we're paying for like 6 streaming services? Disney+, Netflix, HBO Max, Apple TV+, Hulu, and my wife has Peacock for some reason. And the kids watch maybe 10% of the content. Thinking about just rotating them month to month. Seems dumb to have all of them. Anyone else doing this or am I being cheap lol
We did the same audit and realized we had Netflix on like 4 different devices that nobody was using. Ended up keeping one family account and actually saved money by cutting the Premium tier down to Standard. Can't watch 4K but honestly who cares when you're just background noise anyway.
My dad was mad when they killed password sharing because he was the one paying for our family account. Now we all have to chip in a few bucks monthly which honestly feels more fair. Just a different way of doing things.
