Netflix password sharing situation - how's everyone handling it with kids?

So Netflix cracked down on password sharing and now I'm wondering what everyone else did. Do you have a separate account for your kids? Main account + kids profile? We ended up just making a family account and letting them have their own profile with restrictions turned on. Costs $22/month which feels like a lot but at least they can't access R-rated stuff. Curious if others did something similar or if I'm overthinking this

We just got my oldest her own profile with a basic plan. It's like 6 bucks a month and honestly it's worth it to not fight about passwords and screen time boundaries. Plus she has her own watch history which is cleaner.

Netflix's crackdown forced our family to actually talk about it. Ended up setting boundaries that are probably healthier than before. Not the worst thing that happened to us.

This is one of those situations where the rules are unclear so everyone's just doing whatever. I figure as long as we're not going crazy with account sharing I'm fine.

Got the kids their own logins and honestly it's been good. They watch more stuff I'd never let them watch but at least I know where the account is and what I'm paying for.

I know some guys who just share within immediate family and call it a day. Netflix can't really track you hard if you're not jumping around constantly. Seems to be the consensus here.
