Looking for good parental control software that actually works. We got our daughter a used iPad for school stuff but we need to make sure she can't access stuff she shouldn't. Don't want something too restrictive but need decent filtering. What are you guys using? Screen Time is pretty basic.
Apple's built-in Screen Time is actually better than people think if she's on iPad. You can limit apps, set downtime, and require your password for purchases. Started using it recently and it's pretty straightforward.
We use Bark and it's been great. Monitors content, sets screen time, and you get alerts if anything sketchy is happening. Costs a little money but honestly worth the peace of mind.
I use Google Family Link and honestly it's pretty solid. You can see what she's doing, set screen time limits, and block apps pretty easily. Not gonna stop a determined kid but it covers the basics.

Depends on the age but most people I know just use the built-in stuff from Apple or Google. They work fine for younger kids. For older kids you might need something more robust but start with the basics first.
