Phone addiction is real and I'm part of the problem
Realized last week that I'm on my phone way more than my kids are. My 10 year old called me out for it and I couldn't even argue. Got home from work and immediately zoned out scrolling Twitter for an hour while ignoring them. Trying to set a better example but it's harder than I thought. Anyone else struggle with this?
The fact that your 10 year old called you out is actually amazing parenting in reverse. Kids are watching us more than we realize. I've been way more intentional about phone usage since my oldest pointed it out to me too.
