Recommended some good gaming channels for my kids and I don't regret it

Instead of just saying no to gaming, I found a few YouTube channels where guys actually play games but talk about strategy and good sportsmanship. My kids watch those and it's way better than some of the toxic stuff they were finding. We even watch together sometimes. Point being, maybe the answer isn't total screen ban but being intentional about what they're consuming. Anyone else found good middle ground like this?

Love this approach. You're not just restricting, you're teaching them to think critically about what they're watching and playing. That's way better than just shutting it down completely.

That's actually really smart parenting right there. As a coach, I see all the time how much better kids do when they understand the why behind what they're doing. Gaming with purpose beats just saying no every time.
