Roblox is destroying my son

This game is like digital heroin I swear. My 10 year old begs for robux, the in game currency, constantly. He sneaks his tablet into his room. When I take it away he literally has a meltdown like I took his leg. I know it's designed to be addictive but man it's tough. I'm thinking about just completely removing it but he's also built friendships through it. This is harder than I thought parenting would be.

The Robux begging is relentless. We did a deal where he earns it through chores but we cap it at like $5 a month. Takes away the constant asking and teaches him it's not unlimited. Might be worth trying something similar.

Man, I feel this. My oldest was the same way with the tablet sneaking. We had to set hard boundaries and honestly took the device away for a while. It sucked for a week but he got over it faster than expected. Stay strong, you're doing the right thing.
