Roblox spending is OUT OF CONTROL

Just got my credit card bill and my 11 year old spent $87 on Robux while I was at work. He wasn't even trying to hide it. I must have the dumbest parental controls ever because apparently they weren't working. Getting rid of my saved payment info on the device but I'm also furious. Anyone else dealing with this? How do you guys handle in-app purchases?

This is nightmare fuel. Eighty seven bucks! Did you set up parental controls after? That seems like the most important next step.

We had to shut down the spending completely after my oldest did something similar. Now any in-game purchases have to come out of their own allowance. Game changer.

Oh man, the Robux trap. My 11 year old tried the same thing last month and I nearly lost it. Had to have a serious talk about what real money means.

Yeah this happened to us too and it was brutal. The talk we had about the difference between virtual money and real money was actually pretty valuable though.
