Screen time battles with 10 year old are ridiculous

He thinks 2 hours a day isn't enough. Says all his friends get to play way more. We've tried timers, apps that lock devices, taking away the Switch as punishment. Nothing works without a total meltdown. My wife thinks I'm too strict but I'm terrified he's on his way to gaming addiction. How do other families handle this?

The 'all my friends' line is the worst because sometimes they're actually right about what other kids get, but that doesn't make it right for your house. Two hours is solid for a 10yo, stick to your guns.
