Screen time completely backfired after COVID
During lockdown we were lenient because what else were they gonna do, right? Now two years later my 11 year old basically lives on YouTube and gaming. We've tried cutting it back but he gets angry and it's exhausting. Feels like we're starting from zero with boundaries. Anyone else dealing with the hangover from pandemic screen policies? Looking for honest advice on how to reset this without destroying my sanity.
Yeah we had the same problem. Just slowly ramped up the screen rules again once things got more normal. It was rough for like a month but they adjusted.
