Screen time deal with 8-year-old - am I being too strict?

So my son can do 90 mins of screen time on weekdays, 2 hours on weekends. That's gaming, YouTube, everything combined. He says literally every other kid at his school in Denver gets way more, and honestly I'm starting to wonder if I'm the crazy parent here. He's not doing bad in school or anything, but he FIGHTS me every single day about it. Do I cave a little or hold the line? What are you guys actually doing with your kids around his age?
