Screen time guilt is real
Just need to vent. Been a rough month with work and I've definitely let my kids have more screen time than I normally would. Like way more. Felt like a failure putting them in front of a movie at 10am on a Saturday just so I could have some peace. Anyone else struggle with this or is it just me?
I went through this exact thing when I was juggling work and the boys between two houses. Some weeks were all screens just to keep sane. The guilt is normal but it passes when things settle down.
Don't beat yourself up too hard. One rough month isn't going to mess anything up. I let my three basically live on Minecraft during one particularly brutal work period. They turned out fine.
