Screen time limits actually work - here's what we did
My kids were glued to iPads all summer so I finally put my foot down. Downloaded an app called Screen Time Manager and set hard limits - 2 hours on weekends, 1 hour on school days, nothing after 8pm. First week was rough with the complaints but now they're actually asking to go outside and ride bikes. They found an old Nintendo 64 in the garage and have been playing that instead of tablets. Feels good to have them unplugged for once. If you're struggling with this, worth trying something like this.
Screen Time actually works though is the thing. Most apps just pretend to work but yours sounds legit. How long before the kids figured out how to bypass it? Asking for a friend.
