Screen time rules that actually work for us
We do 1 hour on school days, 2 hours on weekends. No screens after 7pm and definitely not at the dinner table. It took a month for my kids to stop complaining but honestly the behavior improved so much. They read more, they actually talk to us. I'm not anti-tech but structure matters. What are your limits looking like?
The no screens at dinner rule is clutch. We do the same thing and it actually forces us to talk to each other. Shockingly my kids are more entertaining when they're not zombies.
