Son actually taught himself Python using YouTube - we made something great today

Okay so my 14yo has been watching YouTube coding tutorials for like 8 months and he never mentioned it to us. Found out because he got frustrated one day and asked me for help (which I can't give lol). Turns out he's been learning Python and actually wrote a script that sorts his Steam game library by playtime. It's not exactly world-changing but watching him MAKE something with code instead of just consuming it online felt really cool. Maybe all that screen time is paying off? He's already talking about taking a real programming class next year.
