My wife and I keep arguing about this. She thinks an hour after school on weekdays is fine if homework is done, I think that's too much. We're not trying to raise him like a monk but I see what happens to his mood and attitude when he's been gaming too long. Looking for some actual data or just honest takes from other parents. At 10 we're pretty strict but an hour of quality stuff after school seems fair. Just monitor what he's actually doing in that hour. YouTube can eat time differently than gaming or homework help.
