Xbox Game Pass - worth it or just endless gaming?

Considering getting Game Pass for my two boys (10 and 13). The price seems right but Im worried itll just turn them into zombies. On the flip side at least theyre not on Roblox spending my money on robux every 5 seconds. Do you guys think unlimited game access is actually worse than when we had to buy individual games? Genuinely asking because I cant tell if Im being a boomer about this.
