YouTube Kids is a lifesaver but also sketchy

Not gonna lie, YouTube Kids has saved my sanity on long drives and doctor visits. But I keep finding weird channels that pop up in the algorithm and it freaks me out. Do other parents monitor every single thing or am I being paranoid? Trying to find that balance between letting him explore and keeping him safe.
