YouTube kids is not actually just kids content

So my 5 year old somehow found a video about some dude doing dangerous parkour stunts and was trying to copy it. I thought YouTube Kids was supposed to filter that stuff but apparently not. Had to have a whole talk with him about why daddy doesn't want him jumping off the couch. More paranoid about screens now.

That's scary. YouTube's filter isn't as good as people think it is. I'd maybe just supervise YouTube time for a 5 year old rather than letting them browse solo, even on the Kids version.

YouTube Kids is supposed to be safer but yeah, stuff slips through all the time. I check what my daughter's watching pretty regularly at the library - it's worth just spot checking what your 5 year old gets access to.
