YouTube recommended content is sketchy

Been noticing some weird stuff in my kids YouTube recommendations. Not like bad stuff but just weird and stupid content designed to get clicks. Put parental controls on tighter but now they're annoyed. Found a middle ground where I check their watch history sometimes. Feels invasive but necessary at this point.

This is the stuff nobody really talks about but every parent dealing with it. Good call putting guardrails up. The clickbait garbage is designed to be addictive and it's annoying as hell.

Yeah, the algorithm is weird for kids. I've got three and we just started being way more selective with what channels they can access. Parental controls help but you really gotta stay on top of it.
