Brought kids to early service instead of sleeping in

My 8yo asked if we could go to church earlier so he could sit with his friends in children's church. Something shifted. Instead of it being a chore he's actually excited about it. I'm trying to model that faith isn't something we squeeze in, it's something we prioritize. Waking up at 6am on Sunday is rough but seeing them engaged with their faith makes it worth it. Praying this sticks with them as they get older.

That's so cool that your 8yo asked to go earlier. Shows he's really getting into it. We've been trying to get our kids more engaged at church and it's been rough so this gives me some hope.

Dude I love this. I always thought early service would be boring for the kids but if they're the ones asking for it that changes everything.

Props for actually doing it instead of just talking about it. A lot of us say we'll get to church more regularly but then never actually make it happen.
