His mom told me at church that my boy stood up to some kids picking on a younger kid at lunch. I didn't even ask him to do it. That's all Jesus. We're raising him to be like Christ and seeing him actually live it out is incredible. I told him how proud I was and reminded him that's what it looks like to love your neighbor. He got embarrassed but I could tell he felt good about it.
This is what it's all about. My kids are still little but this is exactly the kind of person I hope they become. Props to your son for having that courage.
Standing up for someone like that takes real guts at that age. You should be proud, and it sounds like he's got a good heart in there.
