Discussion: How much should church/faith be part of your parenting?
Wondering what everyone thinks about this. My neighbor says we're too intense about faith stuff with our kids. We do church, prayer before meals, Bible stories at bedtime. We're not extremist about it but it's definitely central to how we parent. Is there such a thing as too much? Or do you think if you believe this stuff is true then obviously it should be everywhere? Genuinely curious what the balance looks like in other families.
I grew up with heavy faith parenting and resented it for years. Now I want that for my kids but differently. Less rules, more conversations. Let them wrestle with questions instead of just handing them answers.
