Family devotional time saved our dinner table
We started doing a simple family devotional right after dinner, takes like 10 minutes. Read a passage, talk about what it means, say a prayer together. My kids actually seem more present, less fighting over phones. And honestly my wife and I are more on the same page about values and what we're trying to teach them. It sounds cheesy but it's become my favorite time of day. We're not perfect but at least we're doing something intentional together as a family.
That's really cool that it's changed your dinner experience. My wife and I aren't super religious but we do something similar where we just ask everyone about their day in a more intentional way. Even that small shift made a difference for us.
