Finally had the talk with my 12 year old about purity

Man, I've been dreading this conversation for months but it went way better than I expected. I prayed about it all week and just decided to be honest and biblical without making it weird. We talked about why God designed sex for marriage, why pornography is a trap, and how to handle peer pressure at school. He actually asked good questions instead of shutting me down. Reminded me that kids respect honesty more than avoidance. Now I'm praying he remembers this when he's 16 and hormones kick in, but at least I planted the seed.
