Finally had the talk with my 12yo about keeping his integrity at school
My son came home and told me he almost copied homework from a friend but remembered what we've been teaching him about doing the right thing even when nobody's watching. I was so proud I almost cried. We sat down and talked about how God sees everything and that's why we do right, not just for other people but for Him. These conversations are hard but worth it. He asked some really good questions about what integrity actually means in real life.
Man, this made my day. Not enough dads are having these conversations with their kids. You're setting him up to make good decisions when nobody's watching, which is exactly what matters.
